As I’m sitting here questioning what to write I am reflecting back upon twenty years of an arduous journey to this present moment. The rearview mirror is always twenty-twenty. I am a believer in the God of the Bible. The God of Abraham who created the earth and formed man out of His own image. Who sent His one and only son into the world to take on the likeness of man by being born of a woman and feeling all the struggles of life in this world. This man was Jesus. He lived a perfect life and was the living embodiment of LOVE on earth. In love He chose to lay down His life so I could find mine in Him. I love to ask questions. This blog is a compilation of questions I have asked over the years and answers I have found in scripture. Questions such as; Who am I? Is God really faithful? How do I have faith? What is the good life? What is love?
In this blog I will share the questions I have asked and the answers I have found in scripture. I’ll also share some poetry which has been an outlet to channel my emotions whether joyful and full of praise or painful and full of sorrow. I will share some personal experiences about my relationship with God and how He has transformed my life from one of darkness to light. I am by no means perfect. Everything I share is simply the lessons I have learned throughout my successes and failures in my life. I am still learning and growing in my faith. I still fall short and miss the mark. However, I have come to appreciate my failures and letdowns as opportunities to look inwards and upwards to understand more about who I am and who I can become. I love hearing other people’s testimonies and lessons they have learned throughout life as it helps me understand more of Father God’s heart in my pursuit to know the unsearchable depths of His love. I hope my posts will pull you into a deeper appreciation of the tenacious, incomprehensible love of our creator God and ignite a curiosity to begin exploring your own unanswered questions.
